Thank you for visiting Sun National Bank. We are proud of our story, and we are excited to share it with you. As we look ahead, we see a bright future dedicated to growth, and helping our customers succeed.
Challenges in the economy and banking industry persist, but we are fortunate: because of Sun National Bank’s experienced team and our continuous dialogue with our customers, we know what adjustments need to be made to adapt in a changing environment, despite its unpredictable nature. While we remain aware of the outside factors that influence the overall market, we focus on controlling what we can control and delivering our competitive advantage to our customers: local decision-making; knowledgeable, accessible bankers; competitive products and creative solutions; and solid customer relationships managed by invested employees.

Our retail and commercial banking teams continue to launch innovative new products and programs to support growth and access to financial services. C4 Business BankingSM is a suite of banking services designed to provide small business owners with the financial power to move their business forward, profitably. Through a corporate partnership with the Medical Society of New Jersey, Sun offers specialized financial services and products tailored to the needs of physiciansand their practices.
For our customers, Sun National Bank continues to develop products and services designed to enhance our customers’ quality of life and deliver choice and convenience when banking with us. We recently launched the Android application as a mobile banking option for customers, and we continue to monitor and respond to the service preferences and evolving technology needs of our customers. We have integrated our traditional media with our digital and social media channels for increased visibility and larger impact among a diverse audience.
Every autumn, Sun National Bank employees are given time off to give back to the community, on Sun’s annual day of service known as “Banking on Our Communities Day.” Teams of Sun employees dedicate a combined 2,000+ hours to a wide variety of projects at community organizations throughout Sun’s footprint. In 2012, over 600 Sun employees volunteered at more than 50 organizations in New Jersey. Activities ranged from yard work, painting, construction and cleanup to spending time with senior citizens, veterans, children and individuals with disabilities.
Sun National Bank is a longtime corporate donor and fundraiser for the United Way. Each year, Sun employees demonstrate their generosity, teamwork and commitment to helping their fellow citizens, by donating to myriad organizations and programs through the United Way. Sun’s 2012 campaign raised more than $74,000.
Sun continues to maintain a laser-like focus on our strategic goals and continue to take the steps necessary to strengthen the balance sheet, grow our wholesale and consumer businesses and enhance our core capabilities. We have a strong capital position, and we are well positioned to maintain our positive asset quality and operating trends. We are optimistic that our progress will continue to fuel positive growth, as we work towards our goal of becoming the dominant New Jersey-based bank in the markets we serve.
